We have partnered with ScannerTech, formally known as Scanner Technologies. ScannerTech has innovated lead inspection, while simplifing the complications of vision inspection tools and upgraded its product portfolio at the same time. The UltraVim 4D inspection module and 2D mark/pin1 inspect systems are part of the results.
UltraVim Software
The UltraVim inspection software performs a number of inspections on semiconductor packages. Capabilities include 3D coplanarity inspection, lead placement and size, position data, correlation and mark inspection. The same easy-to-use software controls all our hardware and generic part libraries are compatible between different modules and systems.
The UltraVim 4D module can inspect a variety of leaded devices including QFP, TQFP, TSOP and SOIC packages in three dimensions. Standard device file libraries provide for easy setup and training. The standstill time is less than 20 milliseconds and there is no need to plunge the devices. The total inspection time of most devices is less than 200 milliseconds.
2D Vision System
The UltraVim 2D system uses a megapixel USB camera to provide mark correlation and other 2D inspections. The software can be used as a separate system or it can be combined with the 4D inspection module to provide additional inspections. Options include lighting, digital I/O control and the 2D Slide Mount.
2D Slide Mount-Stand Alone or OEM
The 2D Slide Mount allows fast and easy integration of our 2D Vision System. The Slide Mount includes a precision 3" slide, a 90-degree bracket with multiple mounting slots and a low-angle ring light. The Slide Mount allows the user to easily move the lighting out of the field of view to remove or inspect any failing devices.
